Le lundi 17 novembre, nous recevrons le Dr Massimiliano Beltramo
(DR INRA Tours), qui donnera un séminaire, intitulé :
« RFRP3 et Kisspeptine: le yin et yang
dans le contrôle de la reproduction? »
Son projet de recherche porte sur un système hypothalamique consistant en un neuropeptide, la kisspeptine, et son récepteur, KISS1R. Ce système joue un rôle central dans le contrôle de la reproduction. Son équipe élabore de nouveaux agonistes du KISS1R et étudie leurs effets (ainsi que leur sélectivité) in vitro sur les voies de signalisation intracellulaires et, in vivo sur la sécrétion d’hormones.
